Mobirise review

The Grounds

Set in an enchanting 32-hectare estate with long views over its own meadows and woodland. The estate is a haven for wildlife and flora with a meandering stream and many delightful woodland avenues and a total absence of light pollution.

Wildlife includes owls, deer, boar, red squirrels, many species of birds as well as varieties of edible mushrooms. The pastureland is hay cropped by a neighbouring farmer on an annual basis and who also maintains the field hedgerows.

Mobirise
  • A driveway enters the high point of the estate and descends past cypress trees and laurel hedges to a paved parking area.
  • The pool deck has an extraordinary setting with far reaching views over the main building, estate grounds and beyond.
  • A strategically positioned, competition-sized all-weather court with rear practice wall, built in 2012.  Beside the tennis court is an orchard area with cherries, quince, plums, apples and cobnuts.
  • A splendid arched portail accesses the courtyard and a double flight of steps rise to the front door.
  • To the rear, a terrace benefits from midday shade and opens onto an esplanade of graveled pathways with feature olive, cypress and lime trees.
